I believe the best results come from a committed partnership. My packages are designed to provide structure and momentum for your mental game. Here is how they work in plain English.

1. Commitment & Flexibility

When you book a Foundation or Precision package, you are committing to a program of work.

• Upfront Payment: Packages are paid in full at the time of booking to secure your sessions in my calendar.

• The "Out" Clause: If your circumstances change (e.g., your horse is injured, or you feel we’ve reached your goals earlier than expected), you can end your package at any time.

• No-Fuss Refunds: You can end your package at any time - no questions asked. You will only every pay for the sessions you’ve actually used. If you end a package early, I simply "revert" your used sessions to my standard pay-as-you-go rate and refund you the remaining balance, minus any late cancellation or administration fees (see point 3).  

 

2. Timelines & Momentum

To get the most out of our work, consistency is key.

• 6-Month Window: My 3-session packages are designed to be used within 6 months. This keeps your progress on track.

• Life Happens: In the horse world, we know things don't always go to plan.  We can either extend your package by 3 months or arrange a refund (your used sessions will be charged at my standard pay-as-you-go rate and refund you the remaining balance), minus any late cancellation fees.

 

3. Cancellations

My clinic operates on a strict 48-hour notice period for all sessions.

• 48+ Hours: You can reschedule or cancel with no penalty.

• 48-24 hrs: $50 late cancel fee.

• Under 24 Hours / No-Shows: These sessions are charged at the full rate (or deducted from your package). This covers my professional time and overheads.

• The Emergency Waiver: I know that emergencies happen. I offer one "emergency waiver" per year for those genuine, unforeseen crises.

• If you cancel your package without using all sessions, you may be charged an administration fees (up to $50).  You will only be charged if this is needed to cover my time and costs to reconcile your account, arrange the refund, and reconcile of any Medicare/Private Health records.  The administrative fee will be waived if the package is terminated for clinical necessity or by the Practitioner.

 

4. Health & Safety First

As a Registered Psychologist, my primary duty is to your well-being.

• Clinical Suitability: If at any point it becomes clear that performance coaching isn't the right fit—for example, if deeper clinical mental health support is needed—I will let you know. We will pause the package, I’ll provide a pro-rata refund, and I will help you find the right specialist support.

• Telehealth: All sessions are via Google Meet. Please ensure you have a private space and a stable connection so we can focus on the work!

 

5. Medicare & Insurance

• Individual Receipts: While packages are paid upfront, Medicare and Private Health funds don't allow "lump sum" claims. I will issue you a formal receipt after each session is completed so you can claim your rebates individually.
