Building Resilient Riders Together

While individual psychology sessions allow for deep, personal work, there is immense power in learning mental skills alongside others. Whether you are a large riding club, a competitive squad, or simply a group of supportive friends, my workshops and groups are designed to give you a shared "mental toolkit"—a common language that helps you support yourselves, and each other.

Workshops for Clubs, Squads & Small Groups

Equestrian sport is unique; we compete individually, but we grow best as a community.

Three Ways to Connect
  1. For Clubs & Squads Ideal for pony clubs, adult riding clubs, and competitive teams. These groups and workshops help to foster a culture of resilience and healthy competition. By normalizing the mental struggles riders face, we help dissolve the shame around "nerves" and build a stronger, more supportive club environment.  Performance psychology for squads focuses on ability for a group of individuals to synchronise their efforts, support one another through the inevitable highs and lows of the sport, and maintain a high-performance culture that elevates everyone involved.

  2. For Small Groups & Friends You don’t need a committee to book a session. Gather a small group of friends and take part in a Group Session designed specifically for your circle.

  3. For Solo Riders Many riders feel they lack the social support of fellow riders, especially when struggling with confidence or performance plateaus. You don’t need an existing social circle or a club affiliation to benefit from group work. These sessions are designed to connect you with like-minded equestrians who share a similar discipline, goals, and experiences. Build a support system of peers who understand the specific highs and lows of horse ownership and competition in a professionally supported space where the focus is on growth, empathy, and collective problem-solving. Benefits of Groups

Intimate & Supportive: These sessions create a safe, interactive environment where you can work together to strengthen confidence and manage performance anxiety.

Shared Learning: The intimate format encourages sharing experiences and learning from one another, making the process effective, enjoyable, and deeply bonding.

Practical Application: We focus on practical exercises and open discussions, enabling each rider to apply psychological tools to real-world scenarios they face together.

Why Book a Group Session?
  • Cost-Effective: Group sessions provide high-level professional psychology support at an accessible price point for every rider.

  • Interactive & Practical: These aren't dry lectures. I use interactive exercises, worksheets, and real-world scenarios to ensure everyone leaves with strategies they can use the very next time they ride.

  • Normalise the Struggle: When riders realize they aren't the only ones battling "show nerves" or "imposter syndrome," confidence grows.

Popular Workshop Themes

I tailor a session to your group’s specific discipline or needs, but here are my most popular topics

  • Confident Rider Workshop: For anxious riders, riders who are recovering from falls, accidents or a loss of confidence

  • Performance Mindset & Competition Nerves: Moving from "What If" to "What Is"—practical strategies for competition nerves.

  • Bouncing Back: How to recover quickly from mistakes and setbacks in the ring.

  • The Art of Focus: Techniques to ignore distractions and stay connected to the horse.

  • Goal Setting that Works: Moving beyond "ribbon chasing" to set process goals that build real confidence.
